About the Sarah Palin pregnancy hoax. I don't believe he is her grandson. That being said, I don't believe he is her biological son either. I know this may sound like a conspiracy theory, but here is what I think happened, (& I will explain how I came to this conclusion in another "ask"): I think that Todd Palin had an affair & got his mistress pregnant. Sarah decided that they would keep the baby in order to uphold their great family values image, & then faked a pregnancy.

(continued): She faked it so that way she could uphold her “great” image because, let’s face it, cheating on your wife is not having great family values. After the baby was born, they essentially bought out the real mother. I came to this conclusion because there was a man & his wife that lives in our town that did the same thing. (But, it became pretty well known what happened.) So there’s my theory. I could be way off, but then again, it is the Palin’s.
Thanks for your input, interesting story! I’ve heard a lot of different theories about who Trig’s bio mother is, and no one is sure. What’s known for sure it that it is NOT Sarah. And Todd Palin has definitely had affairs. One of his mistresses has just published a tell-all book, actually.
The Trig question? I think the movie did a great job in exploring what we know - and didn’t pretend this wasn’t a key issue in the drama at the time. The issue was the off-the-record central one as the news of her nomination rippled across the political universe, and the movie shows the press actually asking questions about it - something that never came through in the mainstream media at the time. And those questions remained unanswered, despite being asked.
A nice touch: John Heilemann himself asks the final unanswered question on the bizarre details Palin provided on Trig’s labor and birth. Make of that what you will.
(Andrew Sullivan is one of the few journalists brave enough to question Sarah Palin’s incredible pregnancy story.)
Read this article carefully, and see the photos of Palin supposedly 7 months pregnant. Her birth story is also literally unbelievable.
I’ve looked at the evidence, folks, this is not some crazy conspiracy theory. This article is well-sourced and footnoted. I’m convinced that she faked that pregnancy and Trig is not her biological son.
