Hello! Wow, I’m so glad my blog has been helpful to you. I think we can be hopeful about the growth of the atheist movement, and our numbers keep climbing - so you are not alone! My biggest roadblock was my extremely religious family (this actually continues to be a problem, arrgh) I had to keep my unbelief to myself and keep going through the motions of religion - UNTIL I moved out of my parents’ house. As far as having someone to lean on, I was lucky to meet my husband at a pretty young age (19) and he was leaving religion at the same time, so we really bonded over that. I realize now how fortunate that was. I hope you have a friend or someone you can confide in about this! Thanks so much for writing. It means a lot to me.

My first anon hate! I feel kind of honored… 1) I would show my child’s birth certificate in a heartbeat if there was a scandalous controversy about my child’s maternity.
